Kommentar:
Homer Simpson's The Iliad will give you the giggles with tales of gods, demigods, gorgons, and pomegranates. Mount Olympus will never be the same after Homer gets done telling stories about Zeus, Athena, Hercules, Sisyphus, Perseus, Medusa, Hades, and Persephone! Don't Myth it this May!
1. Greek to Me (written by Ian Boothby)
Homer tells 3 Greek mythology Simpsons style. In the first story, Zeus (i.e. Homer) is found by Marge sneaking out of a bar, so Hercules (i.e. Bart) tells her she should become the next Greek ruler. In the 2nd story, Homer kidnaps Marge and keeps her in the underworld against her will. In the 3rd, Bart is told to bring the head of Medusa (i.e. Selma) to the emperor. (Too bad for Homer the kids have gone to hear Ned's tales : see next story).
2. Aesop's Fables (written by Ian Boothby)
Ned starts out with "The Ant and the Grasshopper," then remembers a story about a fox who got Bart to bet that the tortoise will beat the hare in a race.
